Has anyone bought the Gamecube modem and Phantasy Star Online yet? Just wondering what people's opinions of it are as I may go broadband soon.

Its not as good though (IMO). If I was going to buy a keyboard then I'd want one with the regular pad buttons attached like the £70 one.

Thats a moot point though since I've no intention of playing PSO, just giving my opinion on the matter :)

lol I like it though  It looks cool ;)

tbh I think it would work well with FPS games. You could use the analog stick for head movement (ala the mouse) and use the right-side of the keyboard for actions/other buttons. It would certainly be better than using a regular pad for FPS games anyway

I played PSO on the DC to death and couldn't justify the expense in cash and aggravation from the wife for the time I had to spend on it to get a haf decent party.

well I'm having NTL broadband put in next week so I'll get the BB adaptor and PSO next month and test the water.

EDIT: jesus 12 hours after signing up I discover the price is set to jump from 14.99 a month to 17.99 on May 1, no mention of that from the fella at NTL. what a bunch of ******s. think I'll cancel the direct debit and look to standard BB
