Just got myself a copy of the USA version of Zelda the Wind Walker and am running it it 480p progressive scan.

The game plays great but I have noticed in certain parts of the game there are some wierd lines/textures all over the screen. Its hard to describe, but its almost as if the screen is made of canvas.

Is this an "effect" within the game or is my Gamecube knackered !!.

Are you seeing this when sailing & the weather changes or sun comes up? If so then this is also on the PAL version.

Yes, its very noticable during those scenes.

I bought the PAL version to see if it was better and yes the lines are still there.

Its much more noticable on my NTSC version when either set to 480i or 480p, very wierd. Its not my TV as my Xbox looks great at 480p.

Maybe my UK GameCube just does not like running in NTSC mode.
