    Does anyone know what the digital AV is out is for? I cant find an explanation of it anywhere.

    It is for the component video cable which I received today from lik-sang and the picture is outstanding.(red green blue phonos picture only)
    As far as I am aware the digital out is for video only.
    Your tv must have component inputs for the cable to work.
