This is obviously a misprice as the game itself is selling for more than this.

Combined with the £5.00 discount voucher if the order is honoured you will get the pack for less than £30.00.

The order details definately refer to it being the Pokeman Black Bundle.

Print a copy of the order page just in case they send you just the game.

I ordered from Woolies last night (even though it was £6 more), Tesco's always cancel these orders and give poor excuses and from what people have been told over the phone, they wont be honouring it.

A couple of people on other forums have rang Tesco's to find out about it and were told that the price is wrong and they wont be honouring it, although phoning these companies can be confusing because you always get told different things....

I guess the more people that are put off the less will order, well i will just send it back saying its not what i ordered if i just get the game, or might just keep it, its meant to be a good game.

I have spoken with Virgin customer services, and they state that they will honour any price on the website at the time you order.

The T & C's on the website also do not mention them reserving the right the change the price, whereas Tesco do state this.

I've given the Virgin deal a go...

The thing that put me off ordering from Virgin is that it just says " Pokemon Colosseum Black Bundle", and doesn't have any further description, other than the of game.
There's no photo shown either, so by that token, they could send the game out in a black bin-liner, and still be honouring the offer.

Is there any come back on this, or do we just accept what Tesco and Woolies say. I know I if I buy something marked at an incorrect price in a shop, I am entiltled to buy it at that price.

The was no contract made between us and Tesco's/Woolies, therefore they do not have to sell us it :(

It was worth a try anyway...EDIT: I think the virgin orders have been cancelled (or will be getting cancelled soon)

My order for the cube has been canceled, i thought once you get the confirmation of order it is a contract between us and them, and must be followed.

That was on there at the start of yesterday, and is different to the bundle that was involved in the misprice - the bundle had a few extra things with it including a cheats CD or something like that. The above link is just to the gamecube with game.

Its just been on Watchdog, and Tescos say they will try to get the items at the price as a gesture of goodwill, lol, so in other words they wont beable to get the price but want to save face.

Buh, im still to be told by them that they have cancelled the order so i expect my goods at the price. If i get my goods and am charged full price then it'll be Watchdog time again, could get some freebies as a 'gesture of goodwill' :-/

If a company advertises a price and then after ordering they state an error and up the price this could constitute a Misleading Price Indication Under Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act.

Although you cannot force a shop/site to sell at an advertised price (invitation to treat) it could still constitute an offence so report it to your local TSD.

They would have to establish whether the company has exercised all reasonable precaution, due dilligence to avoid the offending price.

I called Tesco last night and said that on Watchdog they have agreed to honour the deal. The lady I spoke to did not know about that. She then spoke to her supervisor who said that they have just been informed about what was said on the programme and that someone would contact me tomorrow (a dedicated support team). So far, no call from them....

    Well, I've just spoken to their customer services too, and was given the stock answer;

"It will be honoured as soon as we (Tesco) can source the same bundle at that price, at which point all customers who placed an order and have been back in touch since will be contacted."

I tried pressing further on what happens to customers who haven't been back in touch, and about expected timescale etc, but then just got the "I don't have any more details" line repeated on any other question I asked.

So I won't be holding my breath. But still, it was worth a try.

I originally ordered from Virgin, and had the order cancelled (as expected).

Just got a mail from Virgin now saying that if I can get the bundle elsewhere, they will refund the difference between the price I paid, and the price they had it up for.

Just got one on order from Amazon for £85.00, so Virgin will credit my card once I have taken delivery - result

I just rang Tesco as well, didn't speak to a human as their automated phone service now informs people ringing about the Pokemon bundle that they're attempting to source stock and they'll be notified by email. Maybe, just maybe.....
