I had a bit of a heavy session yesterday, but I am sure I sure a newspaper advert for GameCubes @ £69 including a game.

I might be talking utter drunken rubbish, or I may have dreamt it, I don't know, but if you are buying I would check it out.

It would have been at either Currys or Dixons, because they are the ones who advertise most

I'm pretty sure I heard that GameCube is being dropped by Disxons Stores group, so even if I was making it up, I recon y9ou should see them going down to about £50 in the next few months at Dixons/Currys/PC World (if they sell consoles)

Yeah it might just do that, when i buy my Gba-sp at the end of the month i'll get a £30 off voucher for GC.
That would bring it down to £50 now that is just daft.
Shame as i just bought my brothers GC with 7 games for £150
Not bad but i didn't like most of the games so i could have saved £100
Why doe's this always happen to me:(

    Unlucky!!

Bit like me with games. I spend loads of time researching which so I buy the right games that I will like, and then go into the shop and buy different ones (last time, I went in to buy The Sims for PS2 and came out with "Riding Spirits" which is possibly the worst game EVER!).

Went down to my local Agros, picked up a GC game mem card and controller for £78.99 (and feeling quite pleased with meself for actually getting in on the deal before it was to late)..... Anyhow was walking passed Comet homeward bound and spotted PS2 followed by "special deal" on closer inspection it turns out that the store was floggin the PS2 with game controller and mem card for...... Wait for it........ £99 well I couldnt leave it there at that price so Ive ended up with 2 consoles and a shed load of games for both, Im now thinking my CC is gonna go into meltdown, total spend for today....... £410! Awwww what the hell we're only here once! :)

Betamac where do you recommend to import US Gamecube games from?
Have just become the proud owner of a US Console after a trip over to the States.

I have just lost yet another weekend to the genius that is Metroid Prime... with Gamecube's at this price you cannot say no. I bought when they still cost £200 with two games and it's still some of the best money I have ever spent... Mat/Tommy I'll bring mine down when you've moved in and got the RPTV up and running!
