phoned my local game this morning and in line with what has been happening they were due to get 12 in today (6 of which were reserved) it seems they get stock in all stores every other day this saturday being the last deliveries or so i was told..........

i could have got on if i could collect with in the hour and was about to go for it until he told me the price

£292 for the standard pack plus 1 extra game....i expect to pay over the odds on flee bay but not a retail shop

so i passed on it and am going to wait now till the new year

ring your game stores as they are getting stock today and saturday

    hope this helps

My mate went to Game Newcastle this morning on the off-chance...

There were 6 people in a queue but they got 12 in!

This still looks like your best chance of getting one!

I went into GAME on sunderland high street at 9.15 am this morning am number 4 in the queue but had to get basic pack plus 2 games so went for zelda and wii play. total price 259.97. However if add the price up seperately i've been diddled by a fiver.

    179.99 + 39.99 + 34.99 = 255.97

I mean i'm happy i've got one but a bit peed off that I had to pay 260 quid for the bugger.

I was talking to one of the people who worked in game yesterday and said thay they really arent aloud to make you buy anything other than the basic pack. Some sort of discrimination. Just think if a young kid had been saving for ages and got £180 saved and that was it. He wouldn't be able to buy one.

My local GAME had 12 this morning so i went down, but they only had Console + 3 games for £280, or Console + 5 games or £360.
I asked the guy if i could just take the console, bit he said they were only selling them like that so i got the 3 game bundle with Zelda, Super Monkey ball and rayman (no wii play instock)

Any games you don't want keep them sealed and take them back after Christmas for a full refund, as per their own refund policy ;)

Plenty of people did this with the 360 bundles. Just bought a DS Lite yesterday (probably the last one in Newcastle!) and noticed everything was listed seperately on the receipt. Had to pay £220 when I only wanted to pay around £150 :( So back I go next week to demand a refund on the crappy games. I'm pretty sure that their t&c haven't changed since last year so should still be possible. They might complain but stand your ground and tell them that their refund policy doesn't say anything about bundled games :)

    Exactly!

You don't even need to do it after Xmas you can do it now. I bought the £260 2 game bundle on Tuesday @ Game Oxford St, but I didnt need two games. So as soon as I reached my area, I went into my local Game and returned Red Steel on the same day. Game's bundles are made up by them and the games are not boxed with the Wii, couple that with the fact that the receipt rings the items up separately, you should have no problem returning it the same day as long as its sealed.
