Not sure how much interest in this, Game Boy Micro Famicom edition. Its in a pretty battered condition, quite scratched. Includes a non official charger. no box. Looking for £40 which includes delivery.

Also my niece returned my old Dreamcast to me. I loved this machine back in the day. It was bought on launch. Seems as though she lost the AV cable though. You can buy these for around £7 from ebay though. Comes with one pad, one vmu and some disc only games; crazy taxi, shemue 2, soul calibur, headhunter, chu chu rocket, powerstone. No box. Will sell this for £55 ono.

I also have shenmue 1 which is boxed, but just need to grab it from my old house. This isn't part of the dreamcast bundle.

So very sad to see something so awesome in such a state :(

I'll be completely honest up front I'm not really sure I could buy this in such a condition, at least not at your asking price but I do have some questions that may, or may not help me change my mind - hopefully!

    1. Can you tell me what the condition is like with the faceplate removed? I mean is the faceplate all thats scratched up or is the actual screen also an issue?

    2. Seems like the cartridge slot is buckled/indented does this impact on inserting/removing cartridges such as scratch them or mark labels etc.?

    3. Are all the buttons working ok - no loose D-pad or sticky shoulder buttons?

    4. Does the battery still hold a good charge level?

    5. Any chance of some close up more detailed pics of the cartridge slot and of the screen with the faceplate removed?

I know its a lot of questions from someone not really committed to buying so I fully understand if you choose to eBay it or can't get the pics.

Would you be interested in a trade of any sort? I don't have much after selling on eBay and trading in recently but may be able to let go of something if you had a particular item in mind :)

    Thanks

    Hi jamie

1-i'll check out the faceplate when i get into work today and update you on that.

2-i bought this from ebay recently without games thinking "it cant be that bad". I received it and thought its pretty bad, and i havent bought any games to test.

    3-buttons seem ok

4-again, havent used it to test battery hold, all i did was turn it on and the game boy sign popped up which means it works

5-as the pictures are taken from my iphone, thats probably as much detail as i can get. But i will try get one without faceplate on

In terms of trade, i cant think of anything i particularly want but if you have anything to trade, offer away, i can always decline

The gameboy logo doesn't necessarily mean it works, you really should test it with a game or two.I feel the same tbh it is such a great micro but has been completely abused by its previous owner,a crime that should have been reported.

Well its no point me buying a game seeing as im trying to get rid of it. I will say though that id be happy to refund should the buyer find that it doesnt run games, i bought it as working and i dont have any reason to doubt it.
I've added a pic with the faceplate off on the opening post and from what i can tell, the actual screen is fine. The faceplate is where the scratches are.

    Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to answer the questions and take the extra photo - it is much appreciated

However I was asking under the assumption that it was a known fully functional unit with only cosmetic damage but as that can't be confirmed I would rather not take the risk and must withdraw my interest.

Thanks again and good luck with selling it :)

How about £25 + Nintendoland for Wii U (PAL & still with its unscratched club Nintendo points card!) for the Game Boy Micro?

Or change Nintendoland for GoldenEye 007 for N64 (NTSC/US version - Cart only) or Shinobi 3DS (PAL & still with its unscratched club Nintendo points card!)

    Hi,

Unfortunately I don't currently, Timing isn't great I'm afraid - I had a LOT of stuff that went on eBay's free listing weekend a fortnight ago.

I'm intrigued by this as I always wanted the Famicom Edition Micro but I can't allow myself to go any higher pure cash wise because of its condition, no guarantee of it fully working and that I already have a Blue Micro :)

Only other thing I could offer is Sonic Generations for 3DS if that interests you.

If not and you definitely don't want to trade for any of the items please make it known and I'll withdraw my interest entirely and stop annoying you :p

I admire the persistence! How about i send you the game boy micro first. You check it out, if you don't like the condition, send it back at your own cost. If you want to keep it, you can send me £25 and nintendoland

Just to update, jamie kindly offered to pay the £25 up front which i've agreed to. My offer still stands that if the micro not work, we'll reverse everything. He's offered to send nintendoland at the same time as well which i've declined. Again, very nice gesture but id prefer if he tested the micro first and then send the game should he be happy with it
