Hi guys, I'm using a Nokia N82 on O2 that came with the bundled 2GB memory card. However, after taking around 30-40 pictures I am no longer able to view the gallery without it freezing. I do also have a couple of downloaded videos in there. With pictures, videos and about 7 music albums I am still only using under half a gig of the memory. I'm wondering if the cause of this is perhaps the cheap memory card.

Has anybody else had this problem or know of a solution please

I tried puting the sports tracker program on from the nokia web site and the phone continually locked up whenever I tried to open any folders. took the memory card out and it was fine. Fortunatly ( or rather sadly ! ) I had copied the card and backed up the phone through nokias pc suite when I first got it so I restored the phone and deleted everything off the memory card and then replaced it with the origional stuff and its been ok since. I've got about 30 - 40 photos plus 6 albums on the memry card presently and its all ok.

I have backed up the memory card and then completly re-formated it. I then put 5-6 photos on it and ripped two CD's to it in pc suite. However, I still get lock ups on the odd occasion. I think it must be the card!

I had the same problem and have just had to reformat the memory card which seems to have worked (along with probably deleting everything from it).
I managed to back up all the stuff that I wanted beforehand though.

If you're having trouble finding it (I did). Here's how:

    Memory card tool
A compatible memory card may already be inserted
    in your device.
Press , and select Tools > Utilities >
    Memory.
To see how much memory different data types use,
    select Options > Memory details.
To back up information from the device memory to
a compatible memory card, select Options > Back
up phone memory. The device notifies you if there
is not enough free space to create a backup.
To restore information from the compatible
memory card to the device memory, select
    Options > Restore from card.
When a memory card is reformatted, all data on the
card is permanently lost. Some memory cards are
    supplied preformatted and others require
formatting; consult your retailer. The memory card
supplied with your device does not need to be
    formatted.
To format a memory card, select Options >
Format memory card and Yes to confirm.

I'm having the same problem, since I hit around 100 images and 3 or 4 small videos on the device, it also appears to lock up the processing on the phone, even after a restart, which is strange.
