It is based around the old MSW20 and uses the same amp plate. The MSW20 got a new amp and in turn became the 907. For £30 you can't really go wrong.

I've just built a new DIY sub using the amp panel from my Gale Sub 10. The electronics are nicely made and work very well. The reason I chopped it up is because of the silly prices they go for second hand as you have found out. You've scored a bargain that can be recycled if you get bored of it :D

Hi guys :) I was trying to get on last night to post my little sub project but had no access.

The driver is a BSB 12" from BK electronics that was kindly given to me by Shinobiwan  . My aim was to build a sub for the lowest cost possible so the 50 ltr cabinet is made of 18mm chipboard with a double thickness front baffle. The main cuts were done by the man at B&Q for a total cost of under a tenner for the cabinet. I will post a few pics tonight if I can.

    Cheers, Mylo

It is but the amp itself is different and related to the one in the 502 Power tower. We were trying to reduce the number of seperate bits we use.

Mordaunt Short. When I joined we had over 4000 more catalogued parts going to the factory than we do now despite making more types of speaker. This doens't however include the fresh tool up for Genie and Performance so I imagine that the number has gone back up again.

After a check, the cabinets (for any MS or Gale product) are not listed as spares. Sorry but I think you'll need to find a sub with a knackered interior but good exterior.
