    Firstly the s9+

Owned for 4 weeks. Bought sim free for my partner but she finds it too big for day to day usage. All accessories included. Only one used has been the USB connctor, everything else still in plastic

Also has a Zagg tempered glass protector on the screen which i will keep on there. Been on since the minute it was opened. I havent registered it so i will include the receipt so you can register with zagg and get a lifetime warranty

    Pixel 2 xl 128gb

There was a thread which I archived. I bought this from here and there was a software fault causing the always on display the randomly show a yellow flickering background. I updated to Android P and ran it and never noticed an issue for the short time I used it. I cannot say with any certainty however that this has cured the issue so to err on the side of caution I will advertise it as having the software issue (heres an example Google Pixel 2 XL has a flashing screen issue that actually looks kind of cool [video]) if you turn off ambient display there are no issues at all.

The phone is in very good condition however i have noticed there is a tiny scratch no more than 2mm long on the bottom right hand corner of the screen but does not affect any use. I therefore think this phone is a massive bargain for someone

Price and currency: 625 and 460
Delivery: Delivery cost is included within my country
    Payment method: BACS
    Location: Durham
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

Did you experience the problem when you were running Oreo on the Pixel XL? Or did you jump straight to P?

I only noticed the issue when on oreo. When I went to p I didn't see it. I didn't use it for a long time though hence why I cant say with certainty if it is fixed. Definite software issue though as the screen is fine otherwise and the tint you get with some models when you look at extreme angles is very slight, not like the early production models

Whats the reason for selling the Pixel so soon? Think I might be interested!

Is there any warranty and how would it be used if needed?

I change phone quite often to be fair and I am using a s9+ for work and got a cracking deal on the p20 pro for the camera. Warranty wise it would be dealt with by Google. I asked about swapping the phone a few months ago and they said they would do a standard warranty repair if it was sent off for repair to them but not a full swap.

I was toying with the idea of doing an insurance claim and then selling as new but I'd rather not go through the hassle tbh.

I read on a google warranty page that they need proof of purchase - do you have that?

I have the initial order number from the seller I bought it from. They accepted this when I spoke to them via their online chat

Andy, what GB storage is the S9+ ? Where was it bought from, can you include the original receipt ? When you say owned for 4 weeks, is that how long ago it was bought ? Can you confirm it's a UK bought and unlocked phone, is it the single sim version ? Also can you confirm that it is totally unmarked ?

    Cheers

    Hi

It is the single aim 128gb UK version. Factory unlocked and purchased through carphone warehouse aim free.

It has had a Vodafone and ee sim and both work perfectly for 4g calling

The phone was incorrectly sent to me in lilac so it was swapped in the Durham cpw branch and they didn't provide a new receipt. I can see if I can get a copy.

There are no marks are all and screen protector still on there.

The phone will be around 5 weeks old now. I purchased it on the may bank holiday weekend but it was a week later they swapped it to blue

    Thanks

I was waiting to see if you could get a receipt from cpw for the swap you did.
