Galaxy S3 No auto-connect to WiFi / Podcasts

Hi
Bit of an annoyance here.
My home and office WiFi networks never get auto-connected to.
WiFi is always on, they are saved passwords etc. I have to turn it off and on again from the notifications screen every time I am in range.
Any ideas?

Also, wondering if anyone has a decent podcast program they use?
The default sound player and Doubletwist both get playback errors on (manually dragged over to memory card) podcasts.
Would love to have a simple program and that saves file playing position, and maybe even syncs?

wifi issue is strange, I haven't experienced that problem any of the networks I use..

I'm using kiescast at the moment for podcasts.

Nice one, I was using Beyondpod but it wanted payment to continue so this is well timed
