I've tried two different copies of this R2 DVD on two different AV systems (one stereo, one 5.1) and both exhibit some terrible phasing on the soundtrack.

(the first bits are at 6:05 - 6:17 and 7:20 - 8:20, and there's at least one more patch later on in the movie.)

It sounds like someone spot checking a sound transfer and whacking in feedback every time the fader goes up.

Have I just been terribly unlucky or are all the discs suffering from this problem? Frankly, a $50m movie shouldn't be allowed out in this state.

Are these the bits with Tim Allen at the Comic Show? There are problems on all discs apparently at this point. R2 strikes again.

    Personally I favour the R1 DTS ;)
