I have been seeing alot that there is now an update to the galaxy nexus to 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 coming very soon.

I have a gsm sim free handset and its on 4.0.1

when i try to update on the handset it says its up to date. All the posts i have read say that gsm sim free devices should get the updates first as apposed to if the handset was branded and waiting on the network.

Is there a way to update via the pc like a pc suite software like Kies? (dont think kies works with nexus)

Anyone else on here have 4.0.2?

Its supposed to have some bug fixes in it so want to try it out and see if it resolves some of the conflicts i am having with the device.

I rooted mine and now i'm on 4.0.3

Not sure what happened to the Google update. Rooting is the way to go anyway as its a Nexus and a development device.

I've rooted all my Android handsets and never looked back takes five minutes and give you far more choices. Take a look at my nexus screen shots

    looks nice mate!

I have managed to unlock the bootloader on mine and had been trying to update to 4.0.2 but trying to use adb and getting it to work was just a right pain in the ass and i gave up.

I thought i read some where that there is a one click root now available?

Can you give me any details/links on how to do it

what changes did you notice in 4.0.3?
