Fz150 zoom function

The panasonic FZ150 has a24x optical zoom plus 1.3 times inteligent zoom and Extra optical Zoom,what i need to know is if i get a DMW-LT55 1.7X Times extender lens will the inteligent zoom and Extra optical functions work with the extender on,i do a lot of wildlife stuff and the optical with 1.3 intelligent plus the extenders 1.7x would give one heck of a zoom.Thanks for any help.
