Spoke with guy at Fusion today.

He confirmed that the FVRT100 will be available at the end of Jan 03.

The machine will use a standard PC hard disk unlike the Pace Twin which usesa laptop hard disk.

The machine's hard disk size won't be hard coded into the machine so upgrades are possible although will invalidate the guarantee. The engineers at fusion have tried it with hard drives larger than 40Gb and it has worked.

Cool thanks for the info....200GB here we come.

If they are using standard disk wont these be quite noisy and produce some heat?

Just been looking at the Fusion fvrt100 on the unbeatable.co.uk website. Great looking piece of kit, but it looks as though you can only pause live tv for 30secs, seems a bit pointless if that's the case, hopefully not.
Having just returned my Pace Twin I think I'll hold fire on the Humax 8000 and wait for the official release and reviews of the Fusion.
If it ever gets released that is:laugh:
