Firstly let me apologise in advance if im doing something stupid here. When i have both scarts being used on my digibox (pace) the remote stops responding.Unplug one of them, and hey presto all working again.Im also using a digisender to enable me to control the box from upstairs,im not sending video thru this i have cables from the rf out on the box.Can these cause probs i.e-turning over channels on its own and generally messing about.Strange cos it allways seems to turn to the porn channels,so it might be someone else with the same senders on the same channel.
    thanx in advance....

Not clear exactly what you mean. Your Sky Digibox remote is not supposed to "respond" to anything. When you press a button its red LED will flash momentarily. If you press its "TV" button it will control the TV set (if you've programmed it). When you press its "SKY" button it will control your Sky Digibox (you'll see the front panel LED flicker).

If you connect your Sky Digibox to your TV set via Scart and set "Scart Control" to "ON" in the Digibox menu, then it will force the TV to look at whichever Sky channel is selected as long as the Sky Digibox is NOT in standby. Put the Digibox into standby and the TV will revert to its internal tuner or to the VCR if that's on.

You might be better off going to the official forum for the Digisender. You can find it here:

    http://www.aei.info/support/

You will need to create a new account before you can browse it.

You should get more response there.

Thanks for your prompt replies.sorry i wasnt very clear.
Basically my main problem is that, when i have a scart from the digibox to the tv and one from second scart on the digibox to my video and then out from video to the tv,the remote stops working.I cant change channels or anything else on the digibox.soon as i unplug one of the scarts on the back of the box,the remote works ok again.
p.s thanks for the link to the digisender site....ill have a look there.

I agree - it's probably the way your box is configured to use the SCART switching.

If pressing the Sky button doesn't fix it, you need to start from scratch I fear...

So with your Pace (unknown model) Digibox connected by Scart to your TV, the Digibox front panel LED doesn't even flash when you press "Sky" and then a number?

This is my interpretation of your description "doesn't work" but clarification would help.

got it to work now.checked the digisender and noticed that the led on the front seemed to be dimmly lit and flickering.found that it was too close to the video and digibox(the antenna on the digisender was touching the video).Moved it a little bit away and the digisender led went out.Works perfectly now.interference must have been causing the infra red eye to be sending a constant signal, and not letting the sky remote signal get thru.
