    HI,

If you want a laugh, check out any of the following:

    "Plan 9 From Outer Space"
    "Midnight Run" (with Robert DeNiro)
"A Bug's Life" (GetThe R1 LImited Special Edition Double DVD version)
"The Simpsons: Season 1" (R1 as it's half the price of the UK version!)
    "Fawlty Towers"
    "Four Weddings And A Funeral"
    "Being John Malkovich"
    "Chicken Run"

Hope some of these are of use to you.

    Pooch

Evil Dead - Gross Horror, but possibly the funniest film I've ever seen - If you can cope with the blood.

Get yourself to the cinema to see the incredible 'Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back'. I saw a preview showing, and I'll be off to see it again on Friday. Easily Kevin Smith's best film yet, and the funniest (though rude) film I've seen in a long time. It's a rare comedy nowadays, where the humour is free and natural, instead of forced.

Failing that, Galaxy Quest is hilarious, Space Balls, Airplane, the Naked Guns and the Hot Shots films. Spoofs are great.

Almost forgot - Pearl Harbor, I laughed my ass off all the way through (even though I left two-thirds through).

    Hi Again,

Oh yes - I forgot "There's Something About Mary". An excellent film, but best if you've never seen it before.

    Austin Powers (both)
    Airplane (1 is better)
    Shrek
Blazing Saddles (my favourite because I dislike Westerns)
    Galaxy Quest
    Young Frankenstein
Fawlty Towers - you can't include this because you specifically asked for "films"
    Hot Shots (both)
    Top Secret

    These are also funny:

    Dirty Rotten Scoundrals
    Swingers

If you want to see a film that'll have you clutching your belly in glee- check out ' the Brain from Planet Arous' - Ok , so its not a comedy but this had me in stitches when I watched it last night!
Also, check out one of the best (black) comedies ever- The Ladykillers(1955).
