If you tired of the black bars when you are watching materials from DVD with aspect ratio 2:35:1 and the connection you are using is HDMI, go and select from the tv menu the auto format not the 16:9 (when you are using digital connections like HDMI and DVI only those two formats are available, the 16:9 and the auto format).
Now wait for about 5 seconds and..........................suddenly the signal will perfectly fill the screen with no distortion or loss of the detail, the inner scaler of the TV is amazing. :smashin:
Try to compare the two versions and you will see no difference at all, exept of course that now the screen is full.
    Go have some fun. :)

P.S. This feature is called detection of the black bars and its first available with the 9830 range, it will not work with the previous 9986 range.

Does it stretch the image to get rid of the bars or does it zoom the image, thus removing some of the picture?
