I’m planning on doing a full list of shop closures

Topshop
Topman
Dorothy Perkins
Miss Selfrige
Evans
Sports Direct
Clarks
Apple store
Disney store
Ikea
Calvin Klein
The Body shop
River island
Selfridges
Michael Kors

Possible closures

M&S clothing
Boots operating reduced opening hours
Debenhams (no late night shopping)

If anybody can add to this list please do so I will try and update it

I believe all shops should close other than supermarkets no exeptions (even if they sell food) follow Europe’s path chemists and supermarkets only.

Add to the list:

MOT testing centres (my local council MOT centre is closed)

council receptions

major supermarkets (reduced hours)

hairdressers/barbers (my local one was)

as far as im aware post offices remain open.

im hoping the dvla will suspend MOT testing to private cars as well

hoping the Government will impose reduced or no council tax for 3 months

How will people get their food shopping in with no MOT?

You keep banging on about masks so much, and completely irrelevantly, I'm half expecting to start seeing links to scam websites that you own selling them in your sig line.

When I got my car MOT'd I was wearing brown shoes and coat, a pair of jeans and grandad T-shirt in navy blue. Nobody trained me in how to wear shoes as they're slip-on and my mum always made me wear clean underwear when I was going out.

that's your choice if you don't wear a mask because you think they are irrelevant. i choose to wear a mask at work and in public.

many retailers offer collection, online ordering and delivery so im assuming some will continue with business.

i dont see how collecting a non food item from a shop would be any more risky than collecting food from a restaurant/cafe/takeaway.

Presumably it's a full face mask that covers the eyes?

Aldi - closing at 2000 weekdays, 1800 Sundays
Morrisons - closing at 2000 all week.

^^^^^ .... that may come as a shock to those of you kept in by Hadrian's wall :)
