    Hi

Are there any full LCD remotes that can operate an NTL digital cable box? e.g. Pronto or Marantz RC5000i etc.

I think you'll find it depends on the cable box.
My Pace 4000 series can alledegedly understand my Pronto, but earlier 1000 and 2000 models don't have understand IR (they use IRdA) and can't be controlled by Pronto etc.
I'm on TeleWest so you would want confirmation from and NTL person to be sure before parting with lots of cash.

I have one of the all for one mosiac remotes and that controls my Pace NTL 2000 box without any probs..

I had to ring all for one up but they sorted it out in about 10 mins..

I have used other all for one remotes and they all need updating to use Pace 2000 boxes.. so the ones that don't support updating will be no good..

    cheers

I know that some of the one-for-all remotes can work the Pace 1000/2000 models but my question was about full LCD remotes and I can't remember any of the one-for-all range being full LCD, from my memory they are all hard button type remotes.

Is this still the case or do they now make a full LCD remote?
