Hi all,

I once saw in a magazine a complete in dash digital entertainment system with a built in hard drive with CD and DVD reader. It had an LCD screen. This unit is capable of reading all formats and even storing to the built in hard drive, so then you can listen and/or watch from your hard drive. I think it also had GPS and car monitoring. Does this ring a bell for anyone or know of anything similar ?

Thanks

Drive soft! seen it installed in one of the episodes of pimp my ride usa, looks sweet, probably costs a fortune tho. Has an adapted user interface aswell so its easier to access everything.
You could however build in your own pc, by having a unit in the boot and install a touch screen lcd in the dash.

Ebay has plenty of cheap lcd's an you probably wouldnt need a high spec pc unit so that would be pretty cheap also.

Not sure how easy all of this would be to fit in tho!

Like everything else, early adopters pay through the nose then six months down the line you can pick everything up for peanuts
