I've recently bought a Samsung HMX 300 HD camcorder, I've recorded footage in Full HD and it plays nicely on my Full HD tv, I don't have a full HD laptop, it's a Samsung RV510 with 1366 x 768 resolution.

The footage freezes on the laptop, is that because it can't support the recordings?
so would setting the recording format on the CC to 720/50p resolve this and make viewing the footage normal?

I'm using a SanDisk Extreme 32GB SDHC too.

Thanks.

HD playback is pretty processor intensive and some media player software will cope better than others.

Try this free media player

Free Splash Lite - Next Generation Player homepage

If by Full-HD you mean 1920 x 1080 progressive at 50/60fps you will need a fast laptop with something like a i5 processor to cope.

Thanks Graham

I downloaded Splash Lite and it works perfectly.

Result. The thanks really belong to Senu. I downloaded it yonks ago based on a posting of his :smashin:.

If only it had support for streaming video it would be great :smashin:
