My exchange is being enabled tommorow for FTTC, I am with virgin ADSL at the moment. According to Sam Knows they (Virgin ADSL) are not LLU so must be using BTs kit. Does this mean my speed will automatically increase tommorow or will I need to switch to BT? I phoned BT but they kept saying your max speed is 6mb,(Which it is now).

It seems no one knows at the moment. I have asked sky (my isp) and they said it would go up automatically. BUT I was talking to an asian lady who seemed not to understand english too well and seemed to be reading from a script.
BT told me that they would be doing a leaflet drop in my area around the time that fttc goes live (feb 4 he said).

Not much help to you but thats as I understand it at the mo.

Did a new thread have to be started on this subject when all the answers are already on the linked thread?
