Hi all

Newbie question.

I presently have $ky+ and am looking to add another receiver onto my dish and have got that in my head on how that is done. On the receiver side I would like to get a FTA receiver preferably capable of receiving HD off BBC/ITV etc but would then like to stream the saved files via my network to various media sources. Is this possible and if so what receiver is capable of this or do I need to get a PC based system such as the Blackgold 6-in-1 or FloppyDTV, I am however stuck with one PCI and one PCIe slot left in the main PC

Any help appreciated and if this is the wrong forum apologies

Have look at the Dreambox, they have an ethernet port. So maybe you could copy the files from there to your PC and then stream them from the PC?

Also you could consider a DVB-S add in card for the PC there are quite a few on the market and these support EPG through the internet which may get you round the Freesat EPG constraints.

Both options aren't cheap!

Not done it myself, but it's something I'd like to do.
