    Simple question (hopefully).

Will the FTA boxes discussed in this forum work for Sky TV in New Zealand? I want a second decoder for just the base channels, and don't want to pay an extra $20 a month.

    Thanks in advance.

    David.

    I consider this very unlikely.
The B$kyB boxes were designed to a spec set by $ky in UK and include features that they & their channel owners & UK partners wanted to roll out here in UK (& to some extent Ireland).
The market & perceived market forces will be different outside of UK & even more so outside Europe.
There are major differences even between, e.g., boxes/specs and services rolled out in France (Canal+ etc.) & Italy (Telepiu, Stream & the like).
