I have an Hitach 32" tv with built in Dolby Digital/DTS decoder. It has a facility to connect up external speaker on all channels plus pre outs for an external amp. I believe it has an output of 15-20W per channel - not a lot but enough for my small room. However I would like to improve on the built in speakers, particularly the sub as the inbuilt one is a bit weedy - not exactly room shaking. My question is, would it be worth connecting up a set of FS1 or FS2s to the tv? Can they be driven properly with this sort of power rating? My alternative (given my meagre budget) is to get a decent(ish) all-in-one system (like the JVC V70), but I like the idea of the convenience of everything going through the tv - this means that dvd, video and sat sound will all get processed without having to switch on baks of other equipment!

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul
