Has anyoe set up there HCPC on a rear projection TV? I have a Mitsubishi 48" widescreen rear projection and I am having hell getting the video to output correctly.

It works fine using SVid from PC to TV, but the picture is crappy, like watching regular NTSC TV feeds in stretched mode on it. I recently bought the DVI to component dongle from ATI for my AIW 8500DV and thought that this should take care of my problems, but true to form ATI's drivers REALLY SUCK and their support is even worse.

Can anyone answer a couple of questions for me?
    1. What are you using to go from DVI or VGA to component video?

    2. What resolution do you run your PC at?

    3. Should I buy PowerStrip and set my resolution to the same as 1080i at 60 Hz refresh rate?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tv out sucks, I'm afraid. Powerstrip will help, but pc's are best at VGA or DVI, I connect to my tv only to tweak the pc, have no monitor, only a projector
