    Hi!

This month I tried to be a bit creative, using a few props from home.
I arranged fruit slices in a glass oven dish and added 7Up lemonade to make the bubbles. I set the dish up on a glass tabletop in full sun, but used a white shirt :) and a sheet of translucent plastic to diffuse the natural light and partly mask the blue sky!
I then laid under the table to get a few shots looking up through the glass layers for the backlighting.

I then edited the shot to remove some of the blue cast from the sky (should have worked harder on that part of the edit :() and brightened the image a bit together with editing a few spots. I hope it works!

This is great, and actually similar to an idea I had before entering the silhouette shot I ended up entering. Personally I think I'd like it more without the 7up bubbles, as it would be a bit 'cleaner' but that's just personal preference. Great shot :)

Great idea and Kudos for the thought and effort that went into it. As a shot I'm not sure it's my bag tbh, although I'd like to see it on flickr or something so that it's set against a black screen rather than the white of here. I like the bubbles ;)

Nice, not sure I like the cropped edges of the fruit though.

I thought that at first viewing but I like the straight edge lines now - might have cropped the bottom and left in a bit more to make that look more "deliberate" though....

Love it, great idea, great thought and planning behind the shot.

Did you play around with the fruit arrangement? Maybe the kiwis' being a darker green, would of looked better more central? I don't know- i wasnt there. :D

Wow, praise indeed! Thanks very much for your comment :)

In fact thanks for all the comments posted here, they are appreciated.

Ha ha, yes! The slices started to float around..:D I arranged them so that here was as much contact as possible between the different shapes and tried to make the gaps between as small as I could.
