Hi,

Am looking at placement options for slim wall mounted front surround speakers, but due to layout, not sure which would be best:

Three smaller LCR

Larger LCR all below TV

LR on sides of TV but would be 35cm behind centre. TV wall being built out a little meaning edges of speakers would be sitting within 5cm of TV wall - would this throw the direction of sound off?

All below TV, but centre sitting higher up

If I went for tall floor standing LR speaker, they would sit at roughly the same height as the speakers on the fireplace but a little bit wider apart.

A passive LCR soundbar under the TV would be the only other workable solution.

Appreciate any advice.

I'd personally go for higher quality Left and Right under telly.

Centre is a bit pointless there imho, just run it with a phantom centre.

You could in future have small front wide channels at either corner to make it more immersive?

So either L&R slim mounted either side of fireplace, or L&R free standing slighter wider that the mounted option?

L&R mounting either side of TV - too far back, too close to wall, too high up?

Free-standing location option (left is 6cm higher than the right).
