Just new to this site but hopefully can get some help.
I have currently a Sony STR-DB830 amp which powers my new Paradigm CC-350 centre speaker (175watts) and new Monitor Audio Bronze 2(100 watts) speaker that I use as rears.
My problem is that i need to replace my 2 front speakers (curently old 70 watt pioneer speaker from a old pro logic hifi) with something that can chuck out a fair bit of bass (has to take the place of a sub) and is still decent to listen to. I dont have the money at the moment to get a sub. The only thing is that they have to be bookshelf and not floorstanding speakers. Would be grateful of any recommendations keeping in mind the price
    Thanks

Can't give a specific recommendation but you should match your front and center speaker to maintain tonal balance, ie they should be of the same make and series.
