...well that's the question really. I did have a quick peek at the forum but couldn't find any thread suitable.

I've been using a VidoeLogic DigiTheatre DTS system for quite some time now. Bought it for £400 years ago and to be honest it's done me proud. DVD's and consoles have all rejoiced in Surround, DD5.1 and DTS but it's time to move on due to the constraints of the inputs having only 1 optical, 1 phono and 1 coaxial (which has become loose and defunked). I now need more.

Ideally I'd like my XBOX360, PlayStation2 and DVD player connected via optical. I'd also like my Game Cube connected via phono. Forward thinking also dictates what I need as the PlayStation3 will no doubt have an optical out and I'm sure TVDrive from Telewest will use this too (getting it installed soon). Oh and my iMac would be class too.

Is there such a device that can handle all this? Any quick links welcome and then I can find my own way if need be.

    Thanks in advance,

    The Dawnster.

Pretty much any AV amp/receiver will do all that matey :smashin:
    You're in the right section.
Now post again with your budget and you may get some recommendations.

To start you off with a budget amp, search for Yamaha 357 on the net.
This will give you an idea of connections available. The more you pay, the more you get.

PS, that one isn't available anymore, I believe, but is pretty cheap and is a good demo of what is available, that's all.

    EDIT here's a link for a 757, £350

I can't thank you enough. Your a star.

I'm not too worried about budget but have to consider the speakers to complement it. I really didn't think there was an AV amp with this many optical imputs.

Brilliant, I'll take it from here.
