I watched from Paris with love last night, well at least the first half, we found it to be completely void of plot and got a bit bored with it.
However, I noticed that the sound quality altered repeatedly throughout the film. It was as though you could here them switching the mics from actor to actor as there was a terrible phasing sound (like the voices were going through a long tube) which shifted several times throughout a scene, making it almost unbearable to listen to.
Has anyone else noticed this? I have a pretty high end Spendor 5.1 AV system, and my ears are normally pretty good and picking up bad sound defects. I haven't noticed issues with any other films, so I hope it was bad mixing peculiar to this film alone.
