We have a room converted from the back of a double length garage, which, up until now has been used as the kids playroom. The kids are grown up now, so we really needed a new use for it. It's a narrow room, but it is just about suitable for home cinema with a 100" screen :)

I already owned a bunch of equipment that we used in our main living room (with an oled tv), so we decided to created a dedicated home cinema and realised we can do it on a surprisingly small budget. We only needed to buy a projector and screen (and get a few bits of furniture). We decided to buy a second hand (HD) projector. We have been really pleased with the results, and still have room to upgrade various parts if we feel need to in the future.

There is nothing revolutionary about it, and it really is quite modest. But I thought it was worth sharing to illustrate what can be done on a budget and still get pleasing results.
