My disc had zig zags all around the outisde of it.
When I spoke to Play, they told me that their was a faulty batch.
They are to replace the disc. So Im just waiting for it to arrive.

    Regards,

    Mark.

I´ll have to check my copy, still havent opened it yet as I dont have my amp at the moment.

Bought it from Play so it might be one of the dodgy batch.

I was looking forward to violent hacking and slashing and was expecting a bit more graphical detail to the showing of the murders. It runs a good plot to follow and kept my interest for the 2+hrs. As per usual, you don't find out who done it till the end. (Nice twist).
Its also in DTS which is a plus.
Plenty of extra's on the second disc.
But I found Thirteen Ghosts more to my liking.

    Regards,

I've had two recent Fox discs that were pressed in Canada(Moulin Rouge and From Hell). Both played ok on my Toshiba SD900E,however the discs were badly marked with scuffs and scratches, despite being brand new and sealed.I find this unacceptable and will be buying USA pressed discs in future

This means I will not be able to take advantage of the very reasonable prices at Play :(

Most of the time when the discs have scratches on them.
I've found that the disc has popped out of the holder during transit. You can tell this before opening the case by shaking it a little. If it rattles, it is guaranteed that the disc will be marked.
You shouldn't give up on Play.com just because of this. They do, do a great job. You could try out CDNOW.com. prices are a bit cheaper and im in the process of checking them out myself at this time. The website is not as good as Play.
I believe my disc was pressed badly thats why it locked up on me. I had the same trouble with Ghostbuster RCE. Half way through the film when it reached the layer change. The picture broke up and stopped. Couldn't access the extra's either.
    I have a multi-region sony 336 and a sony 530 r1 player as well.
    It happens on both machines.

    Quite an enjoyable film.
I like slasher types and horror of most kind anyway.
Good view of the hows and whys of old Jack. Made sense. But it's not a 'Oh My God Cover Your Eyes' type of film.
But Heather is my current fav so anything she does is ok by me. Even her's and Depp's cockney was passable.

Cor blimey gov, it's a bit of a corker. You owe me a pony son etc etc etc..........:)
