From Above Arthurs Seat Edinburgh Looking back on Old Reekie

Distinguished Member
Ok so here is my entry this month.............

A shot taken from "From Above Arthurs Seat Edinburgh Looking back on Old Reekie, the capitol city of Scotland!"

I tried to enclose the path and the lower landscape with the view in the distance of Edinburgh and the castle ect.giving the "From Above" effect/feeling

Black and white for this shot. Hope you all like it

Better viewed on Black on Flickr

Love the shot and processing Andy but it just doesn't look to have been taken "from above" Edinburgh....

EDIT: - should have said that I know that's not what you intended/meant - it's just what I expected looking at the shot :)

I know sod all about photography but I know what pleases my eyes and this hits the spot.

As for being on theme - after the way I bent the interpretation I can't criticise at all.

Very nice - well done.

Thanks for the comments and yes I can see it may not be bang on as it isnt really showing "From Above!"
