Has anyone got any idea when Fringe will be back on sky1HD?
Just wondering cause lost is on at 9pm on sundays the same time as Fringe (was) so didnt want to miss it
Its back on Sunday after Lost.
Did anyone notice they put episode 12 on anytime?
I put the anytime one on so i could avoid the adverts but i was like didn't she get kidnapped? eventually realised it was episode 12 so went back and watched episode 11 that i had recorded. Went to watch 12 today and it has dissapeared from anytime
Did you take Episode 12 from Anytime and put it in your planner?
If you did and deleted it then its gone from Anytime also.
I took it from anytime and put it in my planner but i didn't delete it. I did have a powercut half way throuhg episode 11 and the power never came back on till morning, that's when i noticed 12 had gone. Prolly somthing to do with the cut.
I started watching the Anytime ep thinking it was the first one after the break, figured it out fairly quickly but glad I hadn't deleted the planner recording of the 11th ep
Half way through episode 11 they advertise that episode 12 is on anytime. The must of only had it up for 1 day.
Just watched ep12, now have to wait that much longer for ep13
Done exactly the same, was 13mins in before I realised
Watched 11 and 12 and I'm glad it's back.
I'm more of a casual fan but I have started to notice (especially in 12) those lens flares/flashes that appear on the screen. I had a quick look on Google about them and will look into it more later when I see them more often.
Also glad it's back have enjoyed this show quite a bit but I have a feeling you'll be left high and dry at the end of the season a la Lost (JJ Abrams)
High and dry I don't mind as long as we get the pay off a few months later
We can only live in hope
Is S2 confirmed ?
Nothing official out of FOX as of yet but even with the breaks the numbers are holding up in a competitive timeslot/day, if that's enough to justify the investment compared to a show like American Idol (same day and almost double the viewers) who knows.
Heres hoping, have really enjoyed this series.
Found this on the web regards season 2
Fringe Television - Fan Site for the FOX TV Series Fringe: Fringe Will Return For Season 2 This Fall?
I am sure i read that it is the 1st & final series
Can not find the link
Apparently there is a second series forthcoming.
Article in May's edition of Total Film, gives spoilers to the next series.
I don't know why I didn't consider this but the ep from Anytime last week is tonights ep (#12), if I'd realised that I wouldn't have bothered watching it
I left the series link active so it was recorded on mine as well but it just got deleted, after checking the synopsis, well you never know with SKY
According to this months ScifiNow magazine, next weeks episode "The Transformation" marks the end of Fringe's first plot arc.
Loving this series, hope it continues.
I laugh at the Walter Bishop character, comes out with some funny one liners!
Really like this too. Hopefully it will get renewed.
Is it on a unusual network in the US as it is longer than the normal 42 minutes of the usual 1 hour long slots we get?
Well FOX is unusual
They have tried to reduce the number of adverts to increase the actual content and by selling fewer slots FOX hoped the price per 30 second block would increase.
From what I have read the idea worked but not well enough due to economic conditions (fewer high fee paying advertisers) so the FOX shows that use this system are going back to the standard runtime.
Not only is this a fantastic show but its also for me, the best HD picture and 5.1 sound from Sky HD by far.
I normally listen to TV @ 40 on my 640R but its too loud with Fringe, had to put it @ 45. Wheras with 24 I have to turn it up to 35.
The surround effects and the bass from the sub were fantastic in last nights episode. The picture was just a joy to watch... and it was yet another cracking episode
agreed with the PQ
best HD pic ive seen through SKY HD for a tv show
Second season confirmed.
