Just saw Friday Night Lights at the cinema, and yep, I know it is out on region 1.

However, try and see it on the big, big screen.

Superb film once again knocking the 'bigger' movies into a cocked hat :smashin:

Recieved 5 stars in Empire too. Got the R1 from wow for £5.99, although it's £13.99 before discount now. Thornton gives a fab performance. Almost as good as 'Wildcats' :smashin:

I would try to see it on the big screen, but up here in Scotland most of the cinemas are showing what I call 'multiplex fodder'. No cinema near me was showing it last weekend... :(

Watched this today, didn't think that it was as good as Any Given Sunday or The Replacements or Necesary Roughness(a guilty pleasure of mine) or The Longest Yard(Burt Reynolds :D  where's the worshipping smiley when youneed it?).

But then again it's better than Wildcats and that one with Alan Alda as the reporter. Oh yeah and Varsity Blues.

Just my not so humble opinion mind.
