Having just got back from visiting the inlaws in France, I noticed in their Canal Numerique magazine (same rubbish as Sky's magazine) that they now offer a PVR

..has anyone seen one of these in action? I notice it has an 80Gb disc and what looks like a rather nicely designed user interface..

though if it's as slow as the one on the standard first gen CN boxes it would be awful.

Looks a good bit of kit though, and given that Canal Numerique (in my opinion) eclipses Sky for content, especially movies (i.e. 5.1 broadcasts in dubbed and original languages for each movie) it seems our cross channel cousins are getting a good deal.
