    The following on French Forum

"Ce soir, pour la première fois à 20h35, le match de football Monaco / Gorica (Slovénie) diffusé sur M6 est tourné en HD pour être diffusé sur le canal expérimental HD (HD Forum) sur Hot Bird. cette diffusion en clair est accessible uniquement avec un terminal HD."

So on HD Forum transponder on Hotbird tonight at 1935 Uk time.

    Don't forget the time difference.

Have seen a suggestion that there will also be a concert tomorrow (Wednesday )evening .

Inevitably , I am out tonight.

It was at 11013, H, when last on air. I have had a look now but can't see anything yet. Will check again later.
    Thanks Hellicopter.

This must get annoying if you've got a Qualitv STB for Euro1080 as presumably it's not easy to switch to Hotbird and then back to Astra again? Or is it possible if you've fot a hotbird and an astra feed?

    Cheers,
    Andy.

it's easy if you have both feeds (dual LNB). I have a few channels set as favs (mixture of both sats) and it just changes accordingly :)

Museumsteve, are there any updates on the French forum? A little more than an hour to go and not even test card.

Thanks for the heads up, Hellicopter! Could you please post a link to the French forum where you read about this broadcast?

By now there should definitely be some signs of activity on the transponder, but as others have mentioned there is still no signal on 11014 H. I'm afraid the frequency might have changed, but doing a blind scan of 13°E would take me all night. :(

    Cheers.

    Found it! :) :) :)

Turns out it wasn't on Hotbird at all, but rather on Atlantic Bird 2 @ 8° West. Thanks to Telesatellite.com.

    Here are the relevant parameters:
    12695 V - SR: 18600 - FEC: Auto
    VPID: 133 - APIDs: 134 & 135

I'm using a SkyStar 2 card and Alt-DVB to watch on my HD projector. The feed is up and running and the picture is stunning. :D

    Enjoy!

    Thanks Abstrakt,
I was going to record it as I have to go out at 7.15. It is too late to set up 8West on the positioner now. I might get the Concert tomorrow
    Thanks

Apologies for the satellite misdirection.Info on French forum was only changed to 8w late this pm.

As I am not at home tonight , I will be interested to hear reports on picture quality etc.

Let's hope for the concert tomorrow but this is only a rumour.

    French forum is at :-

    Enjoy the match

    Hi Eson!

Tell us more about this feed. How did you find out about it?

At the moment I’m enjoying the game on 8W, but I’ll try to swing over to 5W at halftime and have a look. Even a High Def test card is cause to rejoice for us poor HD-starved Europeans. ;)

Sorry if the symbol rate wasn't spot on. My SkyStar 2 always seems to be a bit off when using its auto SR feature.

    Cheers.

Perhaps the following article has something to do with tonight’s rumored “concert”:

    From Telesatellite.com:
For non French speakers: the article is not about a concert, but rather a speech and parade celebrating the liberation of Paris that will be broadcast live on TF1 this evening, from 6 PM to 8 PM (Paris time.) It is not clear however whether there will be a live HD broadcast from HD Forum, or whether they will air it at a later date.

Hellicopter, where did the concert rumor originate anyway? I couldn’t find any mention of it on the Homecinema-fr.com message board. I don’t mean to sound pedantic, I’m just trying to collect as much information as possible so that we won’t miss anything. ;)

    Cheers.

I've downloaded alt-dvb but I'm getting a message saying graph file is not loaded when I try to view a channel. Any ideas why and how to sort this ?

Where did you download from btw ?
