    Hi
I have a sky subscription and but in an area that as yet cannot get freeview so all my viewing is via sky or the analogue channels 1-4 (not 5).
I was wondering, i am in the market for a dvd recorder and will get one with a hdd.
My question though is this: if i get a recorder that has intergrated freeview will i be able to use the recorders freeview tuner to record say channel 5, whilst still watching a programme on sky say sky one?

    Hi Jobe

There is a bit of a non sequitur in your question.
If your area cannot yet receive freeview then you cannot record it at all even if you have a freeview tuner???

But perhaps you were meaning it to apply to a time when you WILL be able to receive freeview... in which case - Yes. It would be possible to do as you describe.

    Thanks fo reply Gavtech.

To clarify, i was wondering if i could use the Sky box as my freeview source as well as watching my subscribed sky programmes.
