I live in Melbourne Australia. Since late November the Freeview EPG for my 2012 Series 6 Samsung 55" tv no longer works. Samsung indicated that it was a change made by Freeview (duly noted on their website) and that I would have to use the more primitive Samsung guide. Does anyone know a workaround for this? Is there a firmware update in the works to accommodate this? Will Freeview restore the service? All replies gratefully received.

You probably will not get much of a useful response here. The Freeview referred to in this forum name is one operating in the UK, not in Australia. You would probably be best asking your Freeview people direct or looking for an Australian TV forum.

Edit: Somewhere here perhaps:

That is odd.
Freeview Australia isn't that different to the main Freeview unless it has changed in the past five years (I did a lot of Freeview testing).
It could be that Freeview Australia has introduced some new feature that requires a lot of work and to be frank the market in Australia isn't that big.
Great avatar by the way
