Does anyone know of a way to use the rs232 socket in the back of my freeview box to either get the channels I'm not allowed (E4 etc.), or use my PC as a hardrive for my TV.

Any other uses for it much appreciated!!!!!

I think its just used for servicing etc. In any case rs232 is far to slow to be used as a video link to a PC even if the software supported it which it doesn't (can't).
