    Folks,

Any pointers on what the best Freeview recorders are? My mum is looking for one.

I was thinking about the Pace (twin tuner) one - if I can still get that.

    Any ideas?

This guy has something to say on the Pace Twin

Haven't used it myself so cannot comment directly on this. I do have three of the omelette shaped Pace single freeview tuners which work fine. These could have done with a dual scart socket tho' instead of having the scart plug output at the end of a lead which makes connecting up difficult.

The Freeview PVR in the link is now not sold at Argos anymore. I think production has now been replaced by the Digifusion FVRT 200 which still has an 80GB hard drive fitted.

I have been using the FVRT 150 for several months now and find it excellent. It has certainly made my VCR's obsolete and the 14 day EPG, downloaded overnight with the machine left in standby is a boon.
