What is the quality of freeview digital channels ?

I'm wondering if buying the netgem for its component output to a PWD6 plasma is just going to show the faults in more detail than say S-video from a different FV box ? Or am I off track?

I now fancy a twin tuner / recorder instead. Either Pace twin or wait for panasonic.

RGB/component certainly makes for a sharper picture, especially on plasma/LCD, but as you say, that includes the MPEG artifacts. These vary considerably by channel. BBC1 and Five generally offer an excellent picture. BBC2, on the other hand, is awful. This is likely to change with time, however.

Personally, I'd still opt for RGB over s-video. I understand the Panasonic TUCTH100 will have two RGB-enabled SCART's.
