I just got a new Sony KF42sx300 TV and had bought the Sagem ITD64 box a week or so previous in preperation.

For the whole week before i got the Sony, the box was running fine with no reception problems on any channels. I then moved the new TV in and connected everything up. Xbox, DVD player all working a treat but the digital reception is now causing grief!

At the moment the problem is with ITV 1+2, channel 4 and some others. all the BBC's are fine. They are really blocky and keep breaking up or dissapearing. I am pretty sure the connections are all good as Menus from the box all display fine. The box is telling me that the bad channels generally have a signal strength of over 50% and quality of over 90%

I have changed scarts, played with settings, borrowed an aerial booster and am now fresh from having the Aerial wall socket off to play with as I had thought I had narrowed the problem down to it being a dodgy connection there but that wasn't working. I have now moved the box to another room to try and the problem is the same there so the socket is probably not the issue.

I am probably going to take the box back to comet tomorrow but I am confused as to why it was working and now isn't. Is there anything else I can try?

A lot of people seem to be getting ITV problems at the moment - however try a different box just to be sure

Your signal is poor. It should be 65%

Get a signal booster to boost the signal of it.
