Panasonic LCD TV I have installed the latest LCD 32" with in-built Freeview at my dads house, a high gain antenna and correctly aligned it! The Signal strength is about 90% but i can't receive Channel 5 and Radio 1 & 2 (701-2).I also installed a high gain aerial 100yds away at my father in laws house. He receives all the channels when i plug my Pioneer STB in!!! His roof maybe 25ft higher than my dads but i can SEE both of their aerials from my house which is lower than both of them and i receive all channels when using my Pioneer STB.
i could try a booster to improve the signal but i feel the Panasonic receiver might not be up to the Pioneer.
Alternatively i could take the Pioneer STB down to dads and try it there.
Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this problem?

    Sorry about the confusing statement!!!

It sounds like it must be to do with the sensitivity of the two boxes. I would certainly try taking your Pioneer STB to your father's house and give it a try.

    Cheers,

    Martin.

p.s. Would be interested to hear the outcome.

    Different tuners have different sensitivities

Try a booster or a slightly bigger aerial

Found problem.... Somebody had T'd an extra socket into the coax which was badly wired. All channels now accessable! Kept booster in line anyhow.
    Cheers for help!
