    Hi,

    Does anyobody know if freeview boxes work with internal antennas, at all ?

    Yes they do.

    No they don't.

    It all depends on how strong the signal is exactly where you live. If you live on top of a hill within 2 miles and clear sight of a main transmitter then almost certainly yes.

    If you live in a beautiful valley in Hertfordshire, miles away from a transmitter, almost certainly no.

    Anything in between is pretty much pot luck.
