Freeview in multiple rooms

Hi

I currently have a Sky+ box in my loft supplying all my Tv's via a SLX Gold F Plug Pro Amplifier and Digi Eyes in each room. This was great as it allows me to watch Sky in any room along with my recordings. I am now wanting to cancel Sky and want to replace the Sky+ box with a Freeview+ HD Recorder. Can this be done using the existing setup I currently have with the Digi Eye's controlling the Freeview+ instead of the Sky. I was looking at this for the box;

I spoke to two chaps at Maplins. One said it can be done and the other said not so needless to say I'm a bit confused :confused:

All advice is welcome along with equipment reccomendations:smashin::smashin:

Thanks in advance.

They were both correct.

No it can't be done with the existing digi-eyes.

Yes it can be done with an add-on modulator box, and infra-red extenders, and some other bits.

Search the forum it's been answered before --- check out the PVR/VCR section and Freesat sections in particular as that's the most likely places to find it.

it can be done with the existing eyes no problem , you need to use a tri link kit along with your existing amp and eyes :thumbsup:
