Freeview /FTV/FTA cards and old sky box

    I've just got SKY+ installed but don't want another sub for the old box.

    However it seems sensible if I can get a free view card to put it upstairs and get free digi tv upstairs - however I don't know/can't find:

    1) If this will work with my old sky digi box (grundig);
    2) Do i need to connect it to the aerial or sky digi dish?
    3) Where I get a card from.

    You can get free BBC channels keeping it connected to a dish and using it upstairs or have a second dish at another sat location for European FTA channels. Lists of channels availble on the Astra site and digitalspy

    How do I receive these channels then - how does the box work??????

    No card just plug it into the dish and select the channel BBC1 etc will all work as will BBC3/CBBC etcand a few others like TCM and the holiday and shopping channels.
