    Hello,

does anybody know of any freeview box's that allow you to output using VGA, instead of scart/svideo etc...

want to use it on my projector, and use the VGA to get the higher quality image.

    Thanks.

I don't know of a box with VGA outputs and I'm not sure of what the implications of different resolutions etc would be anyway.

What you might consider is using an RGB to component convertor like the QED one. If you projector takes component (and most do) then this does result in a apparently better quality quality signal. Bear in mind that the signal is not being improved, just converted however in my experience the results are excellent and well worth it. I have used them in home cinema installations with Sky+ and been very pleased at the smoother image quality at large projection sizes.

    The kit is about £100.

    Cheers
